A Tribute to Those Who've Gone Away

"Those Who’ve Gone Away" is a heartfelt tribute to the loved ones we’ve lost and to the countless military service members who have given their lives in defense of our freedom. Inspired by personal loss and a deep reverence for those who made the ultimate sacrifice, this song honors the memories of all who came before us—and reminds us to cherish those still by our side.

Written in 2012 by MW4V Founder, John Leonard Selzler, and recorded in Spring 2023 at Bear Creek Studio in Woodinville, Washington, this moving piece is performed by the John Leonard Band and featured on L.I.F.T. Volume 01—a compilation album created to support MusicWorks4Veterans.
